The Mash Room is one of the cottages on the old Royal Oak pub site, here in Wainfleet. It's just the one for couples, sleeps two. It's a five-star place, which basically means it's new, everything works, and it's well looked after.
It's all open plan downstairs. There's underfloor heating, so it's warm underfoot, and a wood burner for when you want to make it extra cosy. The bathroom has a good shower. Everything you'd need is in the kitchen area.
Outside, you've got your own enclosed patio area. It's not huge, but it's yours. Parking is right there.
The village has what you need. A couple of shops, a few pubs, a chip shop. The train station is here too, so you can get to Skegness without the car if you want.
Skegness is about five miles away. It's a proper seaside town with all that goes with it: a long beach, amusements, the lot. If you like nature, Gibraltar Point is just south of there. Good for walks and birdwatching.
You can fish in the River Steeping, which is a mile or so away. There are plenty of flat walking and cycling routes around here too. If you play golf, there's a course nearby.
We allow two dogs. Bedding and towels are included, and there's WiFi and a washing machine.
If you're here with a bigger group, there are other cottages right next door that you can book together.
