The Mash Room is in Wainfleet All Saints. It's one of four cottages converted from the old Royal Oak pub. It's on the village high street.
It's a one-bedroom place, just for two. It has a 5 Star rating, which I suppose means it's been done up to a high standard. It feels new and clean. There's underfloor heating on the ground floor and a wood burner. That area is all open plan.
You get a small enclosed patio area to yourself. There's parking right outside the cottage.
Wainfleet has a few shops, pubs, and takeaways you can walk to. There's a train station that goes to the coast. You're allowed to bring up to two dogs.
It's about five miles, or a ten-minute drive, to Skegness seafront. That's where you'll find the beach, the amusements, and all that.
If you like walking, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is nearby. It's good for birdwatching. There are also local river banks for fishing if that's your thing.
