Horseshoe Lake 3
This is Horseshoe Lake 3 on Chapel Fields Holiday Park, near Skegness. It's one of two pods by the lake. They're detached, so you're on your own bit. The main thing is you step off your private deck right onto your own fishing spot.
It says it sleeps six. There's one proper mezzanine bedroom up a ladder, which kids tend to like, and then two sofa beds downstairs. One shower room. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's fairly new and in good order.
You can walk to the beach in about twenty minutes, or there's a bus stop close by if you'd rather. Skegness centre is a short drive for shops and the amusements. There's a shop and a pub half a mile away, and the park itself has a licensed coffee shop.
If you want to go further out, Gibraltar Point nature reserve is about ten minutes down the coast. Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust runs it. For a bigger day out, you're about half an hour from Lincoln.
Facilities are what you'd expect: TV, WiFi, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking for one car right next to it. No pets.
