Barn Cottage
Barn Cottage is on the north edge of Skegness, on a quiet cul-de-sac. It's a detached barn conversion, so it's on its own. It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and there's one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped, it's not just basic.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you bring a dog. You can bring one pet, by the way. There's off-road parking for one car.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine and WiFi. We've got a highchair, cot, and a stairgate if you're bringing young kids.
You're about 500 yards from the beach. It's sandy. The main part of Skegness with the shops and everything is about a mile away. There's a local pub a quarter of a mile from the cottage.
The cottage is right next to a golf course. You can use their clubhouse bar and restaurant.
For other things to do, Natureland is less than a mile away. It's got a seal sanctuary and an aquarium. A leisure park with a swimming pool is about a mile and a half away. Fantasy Island theme park is two miles.
If you want to get out of Skegness, Gunby Hall is about seven miles away. It's a National Trust property. The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has some good reserves along the coast if you like walking and birdwatching.
