Gainsborough Cottage is in Chapel St Leonards. It's detached, but we live next door. You'll see us coming and going.
The beach is just down a path from the bottom of the sand dunes. You can walk there in a couple of minutes.
It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.
The courtyard is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can take up to two.
The village centre is about 250 yards away. There are shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and the usual seaside amusements. It's handy.
For a different view, the North Sea Observatory at Chapel Point does good coffee and food. You can sit and look out to sea.
Skegness is a short drive away if you want more going on. Butlins and Fantasy Island are there. Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are nice for a drive. Louth is a nice market town.
There are plenty of walks straight from the door, along the coast or inland. The path to Anderby Creek and Sandilands is flat and popular.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a stairgate if you need it.
