Coles Retreat is a bungalow in Anderby Creek. It’s detached and you get the whole place to yourselves. There’s an enclosed garden. It was done up a few years ago.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating and is all on the ground floor, so it’s fairly straightforward to get around.
You’re about five minutes’ walk from the beach. It’s sandy and there are dunes. It’s a quiet bit of coast. The village has a shop, a café that does meals, and a couple of pubs. They’re a short walk away.
Skegness is about nine miles along the coast if you want the classic seaside stuff. Fantasy Island theme park is about five miles away. For a proper nature walk, Gibraltar Point is good and about twelve miles.
Lincoln is under an hour’s drive for a day out to the cathedral. The market towns like Alford and Louth are closer for a wander.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
For planning walks or visits, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Visit Lincolnshire sites are useful.
