Sycamore Lodge

Sycamore Lodge is a bungalow in Hogsthorpe. It's detached, so you won't have any neighbours through the walls. The garden is enclosed.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-fitted and comfortable. Everything's on one level and the doorways are wide, so it's quite accessible if you need that.

You're about two and a half miles from the coast here. Chapel St Leonards is one way, Anderby Creek the other. Skegness is maybe a fifteen minute drive south.

The local shop and pub are both about 500 yards down the road. The pub does food.

For a day out, you've got the Fantasy Island theme park and Butlins near Ingoldmells. Skegness has the usual seafront stuff, an aquarium, and the seal sanctuary. Gibraltar Point is worth a look if you like the coast and wildlife. It's a National Nature Reserve. Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has details.

If you fancied a drive inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour. It's nice walking country. You can see the hills from the garden.

Facilities wise: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
