Hazel Lodge is one of five lodges next to some fishing lakes near Burgh le Marsh. It’s detached and quiet, set in fields. You can see the lakes from your deck.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s modern and comfortable. Everything’s on one level, so no stairs.
The main thing is the private hot tub on the deck. You look out over the water from it. The lakes are for coarse fishing if you’re into that. They’re stocked with carp, barbel, bream, that sort of thing.
You’re about five miles from Skegness. That’s where the beach is. It’s sandy and they’ve got the usual seafront things. Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is out that way too.
Burgh le Marsh village is two miles. There’s a shop, a pub, places to eat. All useful. For a day out, the Lincolnshire Wolds are nice for driving or walking. Horncastle, about half an hour away, is full of antique shops if that’s your thing. Lincoln with the cathedral is roughly an hour's drive.
Facilities wise: it’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you want to book more than one lodge for a bigger group, that’s possible. They’re all the same.
