Chestnut Cottage is on my farm in Wainfleet St Mary. It's one of a terrace of three.
It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The garden is enclosed and private, with a patio and a hot tub. You can see the fields from there.
The cottage is on the edge of the farm, about 80 acres. You're welcome to walk around it. The River Steeping runs through it, and you can fish there for free. The path along the river bank is right outside.
There's a shop, a pub, and a bistro about a quarter of a mile away. The pub does food. The famous Batemans Brewery is there too, if you fancy a tour.
Skegness is about five miles away. That's where the beach is. The town has all the usual seaside things. Fantasy Island is there if you want a theme park day.
For a quieter day, Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are both about a 20-minute drive. They're National Trust. Lincoln is further, maybe 50 minutes by car, but the cathedral is worth it if you don't mind the drive.
In terms of stuff, it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
