This is Sandpiper. It’s one of the converted barns here at Gibraltar, near Skegness in Lincolnshire. We’re a couple of miles south of the town, proper countryside. The sea is less than a mile away.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, which is a wet room. It’s all on the ground floor, so it works if you have mobility issues. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-finished and comfortable.
Outside, you get your own enclosed garden and a hot tub. Parking is right there. There's a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and an electric vehicle charger.
You can bring one dog. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The location is quiet. You can walk straight out onto the footpaths. Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is about a ten minute walk. It’s a great spot for birdwatching and has a café. The beach is about a twenty minute walk.
Skegness is a couple of miles north if you want the classic seaside stuff: amusements, fish and chips, banger racing, that sort of thing. There’s a local pub and restaurant about a mile away.
For days out, Lincoln is under an hour’s drive. The Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour inland.
