Salters Cottage is in Wainfleet St Mary. It's one of a row of terraced cottages on our farm. You get your own enclosed garden with a patio and a hot tub. It looks out towards the River Steeping.
The cottage sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. The conversion was done to a good standard.
You're free to walk around the 80-acre farm. There's free fishing on our stretch of the river if that's your thing. The riverbank path is right there for a walk or a cycle.
You can walk to the local pub and a bistro in a few minutes. The Batemans Brewery is there too, they do tours. Wainfleet village has shops and a train station.
Skegness is about five miles away for the beach and things like Fantasy Island. For a quieter coast, Gibraltar Point nature reserve is close. It's a good spot for birdwatching.
The area is fairly flat, so it's good for cycling. There are a few local golf courses. For a day out, you can visit Gunby Hall or Tattershall Castle, which are both about a half hour drive. Lincoln is further, maybe an hour, but the cathedral and castle are worth it if you don't mind the drive.
Facilities: it has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
