This is Bramble. It's one of five lodges on a fishing lake site near Burgh le Marsh in Lincolnshire. It's a detached place, so it's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom, which is handy. You can bring a dog. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s well equipped and comfortable.
The main thing is the setting. It’s on a deck overlooking the fishing lakes. There's a private hot tub on the deck, looking out at the water. The lakes are stocked with carp, bream, perch, that sort of thing. If you don’t fish, it’s just a nice view.
The deck has a table and chairs. There’s a proper garden area too, which is fenced.
Inside, it’s all on one level. There’s a washing machine and a dishwasher. TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
The town of Burgh le Marsh is about two miles away. There’s a shop and a couple of pubs there. Skegness is five miles. It's a classic seaside place with a beach, amusements, and a seal sanctuary. Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is there too.
Within about half an hour you can get to the Lincolnshire Wolds for walking, or the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby. Horncastle, which is full of antique shops, is also about thirty minutes away.
For a full day out, Lincoln with the cathedral is about an hour’s drive.
