Sandy Shore is in Addlethorpe, Lincolnshire. It's a detached lodge on a fishing complex. It sleeps six people, but that's in two bedrooms, so it's a bit of a squeeze. There's a sofa bed in the living area. Two bathrooms though, which helps.
It's got a five star rating. It's a modern, comfortable place, not an old cottage. Everything is on the ground floor and it's wheelchair accessible.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over two fishing lakes. Your deck is enclosed, so it's private, and you've got a hot tub out there. They provide robes and slippers.
Ingoldmells beach is about a mile and a half away. It's sandy. Skegness is three or four miles for the usual seaside things: arcades, fairground, aquarium. Fantasy Island is nearby.
Gibraltar Point nature reserve is good for birdwatching and walks. It's about a twenty minute drive. Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust runs it.
Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
It's a quiet spot. You're here for the lakes, the hot tub, and easy access to that bit of the coast.
