Alfie's Abode
It's called Alfie's Abode. It's near Addlethorpe, not far from Skegness. The cottage is one of a small group set around some fishing lakes on the site, so you get a view of the water. It sleeps two, just the one bedroom and one bathroom. The rating's 4 Star. It's comfortable.
You get your own enclosed garden, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We accept up to two pets. Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and WiFi, and parking right outside.
The shop and the nearest pub are about a mile away. The beach is three miles. Skegness is close, so you've got the seaside stuff there if you want it, like Butlin's or the banger racing at the stadium. If you'd rather get away from that, the Lincolnshire Wolds are good for walks and cycling. There are village pubs and tearooms scattered about.
The main thing here is the fishing. There are coarse fishing lakes right on site, just a short walk from the cottage door. If that's not your thing, there's a golf course nearby and some places do horse riding.
