Lambourne House

Lambourne House is near Skegness. It’s one of five cottages set in about four and a half acres of garden. You share the grounds with the other houses, but it’s a big space so it doesn’t feel crowded.

The house sleeps ten, in five double bedrooms. There are four bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It’s got a 5 Star rating. That means it’s well-equipped and comfortable. The stairs are normal, nothing tricky.

Inside, there’s a big living room with an inglenook fireplace. You get a wood burner. There’s a separate gym with some equipment, and a heated indoor swimming pool you can book slots for.

Outside, the garden is mature and enclosed. There’s a patio with a BBQ, and some play areas for kids.

There’s a pub about a mile away that does food. The coast at Skegness is about ten minutes in the car. It’s a classic seaside town with a long beach, amusements, and all the usual shops. If you want somewhere quieter, Gibraltar Point is a nature reserve about fifteen minutes south. Good for birdwatching and longer walks.

For golf, North Shore Golf Club is nearby. There are coarse fishing lakes within walking distance, about 300 yards.

Facilities: it has pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, highchair, cot, stairgate. Parking is right outside. You can bring up to four dogs.
