Hawthorne Cottage
This is Hawthorne Cottage. It's in Skegness, but not in the busy bit. It's at the back of our house, so it feels separate. You look out over open fields from the side.
It's a small, detached place for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. Everything's on the ground floor. The garden is yours to use and it's enclosed.
You're about a mile from the sea. Skegness centre is a short drive away for the beach and everything else. It's a classic seaside town, so you've got the pier, the fairground, that sort of thing. The seal sanctuary is there too.
If you like walking, Gibraltar Point is good. It's a nature reserve with sand dunes and birds. You can drive there in a few minutes. For golfers, there are two links courses nearby, Seacroft and North Shore.
The local shop and a pub that does food are about a mile away. It's a quiet spot, so having them close is handy.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if needed. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
