Coastal Retreat is one of the lodges at The Laurels in Addlethorpe. It’s detached. The main thing is it's right on the edge of a couple of fishing lakes, so you look straight out at the water from the big deck. It's very quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so everything is new and well finished. The deck is enclosed and it has a private hot tub. They provide robes and slippers.
The deck and the living area are open plan. The entrance and the living space are all on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. There's parking right next to the lodge.
You can walk to the beach at Ingoldmells in about half an hour. It's a sandy beach. Skegness is a ten minute drive if you want the pier, amusements, and that sort of thing.
For days out, Fantasy Island is very close. There’s a golf course nearby, and you can go horse riding locally. Birdwatchers should go to Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Butlin’s at Ingoldmells is about five minutes in the car.
The lodge takes up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. WiFi and TV are there.
