Copper House

Copper House is a converted barn on our family farm just outside Willoughby. It's detached and you get the garden to yourself. We finished the work in 2021, so everything is fairly new.

It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, so there's plenty of space and no big queues in the morning. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.

The layout is good for family groups. There are two separate staircases up to the bedrooms. The main living area is on the ground floor.

Outside there's a large south-facing patio with a lawned garden. There's a 15-foot swim spa on the patio. It's not a full swimming pool, it's more for a swim against a current or just relaxing in.

You can bring up to three dogs. Please be aware there are usually cattle or sheep in the fields around the farm, so dogs need to be kept under control.

The village pub is about a ten minute walk away, straight across the field on a footpath. They do food. For a more restaurant-style meal, there's a gastro pub in Skendleby, about a ten minute drive.

You're about five miles from the sandy beach at Chapel St Leonards. Skegness and Mablethorpe, with all the classic seaside stuff like Fantasy Island and Butlins, are within a fifteen minute drive. The Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is nearby too, and the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is close for walks or cycling. There are good walks straight from the door.

For facilities, you've got the things you'd expect: a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking. We provide bedding and towels. There's also a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.

If you're looking for information on days out, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust manages Gibraltar Point, and the Lincolnshire Wolds website has walking and cycling routes.
