Copper House
Copper House is a big converted barn on the edge of our farm in Willoughby. It's a 5 Star place, which really means everything is quite new and it's finished to a higher standard. We did it up properly in 2021. It sleeps ten, so there are five bedrooms and four bathrooms. That helps with big groups.
There are two separate staircases, so you can get to the bedrooms from either side of the house. It helps with noise and gives you a bit of separation.
The main thing out the back is the patio and the swim spa. It's a big heated pool with jets you can swim against. It's about 15 feet long. You also get a lawned garden area as well. The patio faces south, so it catches the sun.
Down the footpath through the field is the village pub. It's about a ten minute walk. They do food. For something a bit more food-focused, there's a gastro pub in Skendleby, about a ten minute drive.
You're about five miles from the sea at Chapel St Leonards, which is a sandy beach. Skegness and Mablethorpe are within 15 minutes or so. That's where you get the arcades, Fantasy Island, and Butlins. For nature, Gibraltar Point is good, and the Lincolnshire Wolds are close by.
You can bring up to three dogs, which is good for a place this size. Just be aware there are farm animals like sheep or cattle in the fields next door sometimes.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Dishwasher, washing machine, wood burner, TV, wifi, parking for a few cars. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
