Lizzie's Cottage
Lizzie's Cottage is up on a hill in Fordington, so the views are really quite something. You're looking out over the Lincolnshire Wolds.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which honestly just means everything feels new, comfortable, and there are no fiddly bits that don't work.
The main living space is open plan, so everyone's together. There's a utility room next to the back door for boots and coats, which is useful.
Outside, there's a terrace with a glass railing so the view isn't blocked. The hot tub is out there too. It's a decent size.
The nearest shop is about a mile and a half away. The pub in the next village is two miles by car, but you can walk there across the fields in about forty minutes. They do good food.
From the door, you can get straight onto the footpaths and cycle routes around the Wolds. For a day at the coast, Skegness is about twenty minutes east. It's a proper traditional seaside town, promenade, arcades, the lot.
Market towns like Louth, Horncastle, and Alford are all within twenty minutes for a wander and a coffee. Lincoln is a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes. The cathedral and castle are worth the trip. The Brayford Waterfront is good for a meal.
What's here: There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, barbecue, and parking for your cars. Bedding and towels are included. The place is all electric. No pets, sorry.
