Sunflower Holiday Cottage is in Thoresthorpe, a hamlet just outside Alford in Lincolnshire. It's a converted Victorian barn, so it's detached. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. The views are over fields towards the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's very quiet.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The entrance and main living space are all on one level, which is helpful. There's a shower, not a bath.
Alford is about a mile away. It's a proper market town with shops, a couple of supermarkets, pubs, and places to eat. The coast is about a fifteen-minute drive. You've got Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea that way. They have sandy beaches. Skegness and Ingoldmells are a bit further south.
For walking, the Wolds are right there. You can drive into them in minutes. There's a golf course at Woodthorpe, about three miles away. If you want a good day out, Louth is a nice Georgian town about twenty minutes' drive. It has lots of independent shops.
In terms of what's here: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs. The entrance is level and the main rooms are all on the ground floor.
