The Old Rectory Lodge is in Tothill, which is a small hamlet. It's detached, so you won't have neighbours on the other side of a wall. The building was the old rectory's lodge house.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up nicely, it's comfortable. The shower is good.
You're down a lane, so it's quiet. The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you have a dog. There's parking right there.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a wood burning stove. It works well and heats the whole place. There's a dishwasher and wifi. All the bedding and towels are included.
For getting out, you can walk or cycle from the door straight into the lanes. There's a pub about a mile's walk away, they do food. A shop is about the same distance.
Louth is seven miles west. It's a Georgian market town. They've got a proper market a few days a week, shops, and places to eat.
The coast is about eight miles east. That gets you to Mablethorpe and Skegness. They're traditional seaside towns with long sandy beaches.
If you drive for half an hour, you can get to Lincoln. The cathedral is the main thing. You can visit the castle there too. For golf, there's an 18-hole course at Woodthorpe, which is nearby.
