Ludensian Lodge is a detached log cabin in Little Cawthorpe, in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's one of several lodges set in a big woodland estate called Kenwick Woods.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. They're clean and well-equipped, more modern holiday home than rustic cabin.
You're right in the woods here. You can walk or cycle straight out from the lodge. The estate has its own 18-hole golf course that weaves through the trees. There's a bar and restaurant about half a mile walk from the lodge.
The town of Louth is about ten minutes drive. It's a proper Georgian market town with a good high street, supermarkets, pubs, and a leisure centre. The coast is about twenty minutes east. Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea have traditional sandy beaches. For something different, the seal colony at Donna Nook is about a twenty-minute drive. It gets very busy in pupping season.
Facilities in the lodge: it's all on one level. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. You have your own garden with furniture and parking right outside. No pets allowed.
