Woody's Top is on top of the Lincolnshire Wolds, near Ruckland. It's a detached house that used to be a youth hostel. It sleeps ten people.
There are five bedrooms and they all have their own bathroom. That's handy with a big group. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and well set up.
The main thing is the view. You can see right across the Wolds and on a clear day you can see the coast. The garden is south-facing and enclosed, so it's good if you've got kids or a dog. There's a patio with a BBQ and a hot tub.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. There's a games room upstairs with a pool table and things to keep people entertained. It's got all the stuff you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive.
The local pub and a restaurant are about three miles away in the village. The proper shops are in Louth, which is about six miles. It's a nice Georgian market town with a few supermarkets and some good independent shops.
For days out, Cadwell Park racing circuit is just five miles away if that's your thing. Lincoln is about 35 minutes' drive. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. The coast at Skegness is about half an hour east. It's a traditional seaside town with a long sandy beach. Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve is next to it and is better for walks and birdwatching.
There are two golf courses about seven miles away where you can pay to play.
