Garden Cottage
Garden Cottage is in Tetford, Lincolnshire. It's semi-detached with its own garden out the back. The garden's enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. It looks onto the village playing fields.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's got everything you need and it's comfortable. Nothing too fancy.
The pub is pretty much opposite. It's dog-friendly. For a bigger shop, you'd need to drive to Horncastle or Louth.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are all around here. It's nice countryside for walking, and you can start from the door. Lincolnshire Wolds is the website for the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
You're about half an hour from the coast. Skegness is one way, or you can go to the quieter beaches like Sutton-on-Sea. Horncastle is a 15-minute drive. It's an old Roman town, lots of antique shops. Louth is about 20 minutes away, it's a proper market town.
Facilities in the cottage: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've put in a cot, a highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's bike storage if you're cycling.
Useful links: the National Trust for Lincolnshire has local places, and Lincoln Cathedral is worth a visit if you're going into the city, which is about 45 minutes away.
