Kingfisher Lodge is near Hagworthingham, in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's a detached place, built to look like the old fishing lodge that was here. You're down a private track, so it feels quite secluded.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, so that's convenient. Everything is on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well equipped and comfortable, not a project.
The big thing is the view. The main rooms look right out over Alder Valley Lake. It's quiet. You can fish in the lake if you want. There's a patio area to sit out on.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside.
For a shop, you need to go about half a mile. There are decent pubs and places to eat not far.
If you want to get out, you're right in the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Good for walking or cycling. Horncastle and Louth are nice market towns. Lincoln is about a 40 minute drive. Skegness is roughly the same, the other way.
There are a lot of air museums around here if that's your interest, from the war.
A useful site for planning walks is the National Trust in Lincolnshire page. They've got some properties nearby.
No pets, I'm afraid.
