The Shambles
The Shambles is in Fulletby, a quiet village in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's a detached barn conversion, so you're on your own. It was all done up in 2019.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and everything's new. Everything is on the ground floor and the entrance is level, which is handy.
There's a private hot tub outside. Towelling robes and slippers are there for you to use. You get a welcome pack with some local bits and pieces when you arrive.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door into the Wolds. The Lincolnshire Wolds website has maps. The nearest pub for food is about two miles away. The shop is three and a half.
Louth is a market town about a twenty minute drive. Horncastle is a bit closer and is known for antiques shops. If you head east, you can be at the coast near Skegness in half an hour.
Lincoln is a good day out. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. It takes about 35 minutes to drive there. You can get more information from English Heritage and the Lincoln Cathedral site.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. Parking is right outside. There's a BBQ and a garden area. A cot and highchair are available if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
There are a couple of other similar cottages next door if you were coming with more people.
