The front door opens onto a lane that's part of the Viking Way walking route, so if you're walking or cycling, you can start from the doorstep. The town has a few pubs and places to eat within a quarter of a mile. The local shop is about the same distance.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are right here for walking. Woodhall Spa is about seven miles away, known for its golf and the Kinema in the Woods cinema. Lincoln is a 30 minute drive. You've got the cathedral and castle there. Skegness and the coast are also about a 30 minute drive in the other direction.
For local history, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight centre is 15 minutes away by car. There's also the Bubble Car Museum about 20 minutes away.
Facilities include a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and highchair if needed. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and there's parking on site. There is no pets policy.
