Wits End Cottage
Wits End Cottage is a detached cottage on our property in Roughton. You'll be in the area by our thatched farmhouse but it's your own space.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom with the bathroom right next to it. It's a 5 Star place, which basically means it's been done to a high standard and everything should work properly.
The layout is all on one level. No stairs to worry about. It's open plan, so the living, dining, and kitchen areas are together. You get a dishwasher and a washing machine.
It's very quiet here. You look out over fields. There's a patio with a barbecue and space to sit out. Parking is right by the cottage.
We allow pets. Up to four, which is more than most.
A decent pub that does food is about a mile down the road. The nearest shop is in Woodhall Spa, about three miles away.
For getting out, you're on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Good for walks and cycling right from the door. Woodhall Spa is close, it's got the Kinema in the Woods and a famous golf course. Horncastle is good for antiques. Lincoln is about 25 minutes by car for the Cathedral and Castle. If you want the coast, Skegness is roughly half an hour away. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is at RAF Coningsby, a 15-minute drive.
