Wits End Cottage
It's called Wits End Cottage. It's a one-bedroom place for two, detached, in Roughton. That's a small village in Lincolnshire. It sits in the grounds of our thatched farmhouse, so it's quiet. It's got a five star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main thing is it's on one level. No stairs inside. There's an en-suite shower room off the bedroom. The living area is open plan.
It's got parking right outside. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. WiFi, TV, all that's included. You can use the barbecue. We've got space if you want to bring bikes.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is in Woodhall Spa, that's three miles. If you like fishing or golf, there are places nearby. Horse riding can be arranged locally too.
For a day out, Woodhall Spa is nice. Horncastle is close for antiques. Lincoln is about 25 minutes by car, it's a great city. If you fancy the coast, Skegness is roughly half an hour's drive.
Roughton is on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's good walking country. There are cycle routes from the door. If you're interested in aviation, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is at RAF Coningsby, about 15 minutes away.
You can bring pets. Up to four. The property is available for Christmas breaks.
