The Annex By The Bain
The Annex By The Bain is in Kirkby on Bain. It's attached to the main house, but you've got your own entrance and it's self-contained. It's for two people.
Everything is on the ground floor. One bedroom, one shower room. It’s a 5 Star place, which means it’s been finished to a high standard. It's smart and comfortable.
There's a shared heated swimming pool just off your living room. You can use it whenever. There's also an infra-red sauna you can book. Outside, there's a private patio and you can use the riverside decking area which looks out over the Bain valley.
The village pub is about a ten minute walk away. They do food. For a shop, you'd drive to Woodhall Spa, which is about two and a half miles. It's a nice little town. Good for cafés and a wander. The Kinema in the Woods is there, which is a proper old cinema with an organ that comes up before the film. There's golf if that's your thing.
Horncastle is close by, about four miles. It's known for antiques. If you like walking or cycling, the Lincolnshire Wolds are maybe a 20 minute drive. It's quiet countryside.
The coast at Skegness is about 45 minutes by car if you want a traditional seaside day. Closer to home, RAF Coningsby is nearby. You'll often see the old Battle of Britain planes like the Lancaster flying over, which is quite a sight.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, wifi. Your bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets.
