The Annex By The Bain

The Annex By The Bain is in Kirkby on Bain in Lincolnshire. It's a sort of modern coach house that sits next to our main house. We share the drive, but the place is all yours. It's for two people. One bedroom and one bathroom, all on the ground floor.

It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is new and works properly. It's comfortable and quiet.

The main feature is you get your own private access to a heated indoor swimming pool. You don't have to go outside. There's also a small infrared sauna. At the back, there's a bit of decking that looks out over the fields towards the River Bain. It's enclosed, so fine for dogs. We allow two.

The village pub is a few minutes' walk up the road. They do food. For a proper shop, you'll need to drive to Woodhall Spa or Horncastle. Woodhall Spa is about ten minutes away. It's known for its golf, the Kinema in the Woods cinema, and its RAF history. Horncastle has a lot of antique shops.

The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a 20-minute drive. Good for walking and cycling. If you head east, you can be in Skegness in under an hour for the seaside. Coningsby airbase is very close. You'll often see the old Battle of Britain planes, like the Lancaster, flying over from there.

Inside it's got what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
