The Forge is our place in Tumby Woodside. It's a detached cottage in Lincolnshire, with fields all around. You get a decent sized garden, fully enclosed, which is handy if you've got kids.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. The WiFi works fine.
Inside, you've got a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've left a highchair and a stairgate there too, if you need them. There's parking right outside.
The stairs are a normal staircase, nothing too steep. The kitchen has the basics. The living room looks out over the garden.
It's a quiet spot. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in Bucknall. The pub does food.
You're about halfway between Lincoln and the coast. You can get to Skegness or Mablethorpe in under forty minutes if you fancy the beach. Lincoln is about half an hour's drive the other way. The cathedral is worth seeing.
Locally, Woodhall Spa is five miles. They've got the Kinema in the Woods, which is a cinema with a back projection screen. There's also an outdoor pool there in summer. For history, Tattershall Castle is close by, and the Battle of Britain museum at East Kirkby is interesting if you like that sort of thing.
