Cornflower Cottage Scrub Hill

Cornflower Cottage is on Scrub Hill, near Coningsby. It's a converted barn, semi-detached to its neighbour, Cowslip Cottage. It's out in the fields, so it's quiet. The garden and patio are yours to use.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both downstairs, and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not ultra-modern. We restored it ourselves, so there are some old beams and features.

You can walk or cycle straight from the door onto the local lanes and footpaths. There's fishing about half a mile away if that's your thing. The pub is two miles down the road, so you'd probably drive. Boston is about eight miles for shops and the market. The famous Boston Stump is there.

Coningsby is two miles away. That's where the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is based. You can often see the Lancaster bomber flying. Lincoln is about a half hour drive. The cathedral and castle are up on the hill. The Bailgate area around there has nice cafes.

The coast is about 30 minutes away. Skegness has the beach, and Gibraltar Point is good for wildlife. The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust runs it.

Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. No pets, sorry.
