Bourne's Homestead is in Hagworthingham, near Horncastle. It's a modern, detached cottage in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's not chocolate-box, it's more spacious and bright.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One has a walk-in shower. You can bring up to two dogs.
The main living space is open plan. It has a wood burner. The views from the front are over fields to an old windmill. From the back, you look out across the Wolds.
The garden is big. There's a patio with a BBQ. It's quiet here at night, with little light pollution, so you can see the stars.
There's a footpath next to the property that leads to the village pub. It's a proper shortcut.
You're right in the Wolds for walking. You can go out the gate, turn right, and not see a main road for miles. For days out, the coast is about half an hour's drive for beaches. Lincoln is around 28 miles away, so maybe 45 minutes. The castle and cathedral are worth seeing.
Local things include Cadwell Park for motorsport, Market Rasen for horse racing, and Woodhall Spa for golf. Horncastle has antique shops. It's all within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities: everything's included - bedding, towels, electricity. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. The entrance and ground floor are wheelchair accessible.
