Just Jane's Hangout
Just Jane's Hangout is in East Kirkby. It's next to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. That's where 'Just Jane' the Lancaster bomber is. You'll hear it running its engines sometimes.
It's a one bedroom cottage, sleeps two. It's up a small ramp so should be okay for a wheelchair. It's been fully redone inside. You'll have an enclosed patio garden out the back.
It's behind the owner's pub, but far enough back that it's quiet. The pub is about 50 yards away. They do food from 5 to 8 every evening. They have live music and karaoke some nights. If that's not your thing, you'll hear it. It's a pub.
Skegness is about 25 minutes by car if you want the beach. Horncastle is 15 minutes away, good for antiques. Louth is a nice market town, about 25 minutes.
The area is flat, good for walking and cycling from the door. There's fishing nearby if you're into that. The Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour inland for a different view.
It comes with towels and bedding. There's parking right there, WiFi, TV. You can bring one dog. The pub is dog friendly.
