The Beehive

The Beehive is in East Kirkby. It's a small converted farm building. Looks a bit like its name, round and brick.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. You can bring two dogs. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's decent and well-equipped.

The living space is open-plan. It's a single room on the ground floor with the kitchen at one end. There's underfloor heating, so it's warm. The stairs to the bedrooms are a ship's ladder style, which means they're steep and narrow. Fine for most, but something to be aware of.

Outside, you've got a small private patio with a table. It's not enclosed, but it's a quiet spot. The main garden is shared with the other cottages here.

East Kirkby itself is a small village. The pub is about a five minute walk. It does food. There's a convenience shop a short drive away in the next village. For a supermarket, you'd go to Horncastle or Spilsby.

The main local attraction is the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. It's just down the road. They've got a Lancaster bomber that does taxi runs. Worth seeing.

If you want to get out walking, the Lincolnshire Wolds are right here. Good for a ramble. You can drive to the coast at Skegness or Mablethorpe in under half an hour. They're typical seaside towns.

For something historical, Tattershall Castle is about twenty minutes away by car.

Inside, you've got a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
