Chesterton Cottage

Chesterton Cottage is here in East Kirkby. It's a detached place, but it's in the grounds of our main house. We're around, but you've got your own space and a fully enclosed garden.

It sleeps four, but in one bedroom. It's a decent sized bedroom with a double bed and two singles. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and everything works, but it's not a fancy hotel.

A few things to know. It's got wheelchair access at the entrance and there are grab rails in the bathroom. The lane outside is quiet, but if you're a light sleeper you might hear the odd car. The local pub is about fifty yards over the road. They do food.

You're right next to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. They've got a Lancaster bomber that does taxi runs on certain days. It's loud and it's brilliant. You can walk to it from the cottage.

For a day at the coast, Skegness is about twenty minutes by car. Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are nice for walking and driving through. Louth is a nice market town about twenty five minutes away. Horncastle, which has a lot of antique shops, is about fifteen minutes.

There's a dog training facility right across the road. They might let you hire it, you'd have to ask them. Good walks start from the door, and the area is flat so it's good for cycling.

Facilities wise: everything's included. WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels. Parking right there. You can bring two dogs. There's fishing nearby if that's your thing.
