The Mansion Cottage is in Tetford, in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It's detached, so no neighbours on either side. The garden is big and open, with no fence. The view from there is really good, over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's old, built in the late 1600s or early 1700s, so you can see the oak beams. The ceilings and doorways are low in places, mind your head.
There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
We accept up to three dogs. There's a highchair and a travel cot if you need them.
The shop is about six miles away in Horncastle. There are pubs in the nearby villages, three or four miles.
You can start walks right from the cottage door, straight into the Wolds. Horncastle is six miles, Louth is eight. Lincoln is about twenty-three miles, but it's a good day out. The coast and beaches are roughly fifteen miles. Gibraltar Point is twenty-one.
If you're interested in history, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the East Kirkby Aviation Museum are nearby. Gunby Hall is a National Trust property.
