Kenwick Lodge is a log cabin in Little Cawthorpe. It's a detached place in Kenwick Woods, so you've got woodland all around.
It sleeps six people across three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and tidy.
It's all ground floor, which I like. Everything's on one level. The main room is open plan. There's a patio and your own garden space. Parking is right outside.
TV and WiFi are there, and all your bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine too.
You can walk straight out from the cabin into the woods. The park has an 18-hole golf course that winds through the trees, past nine lakes. It's a decent walk, about half a mile, to the bar and restaurant they have on site.
The local pub is also about half a mile away. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away in Louth.
Louth itself is a Georgian market town. It's got shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, and a leisure centre. It's a good base.
From here, you're about a 20 minute drive from the coast. Mablethorpe and Sutton-on-Sea have proper sandy beaches. Donna Nook is the same way, where the seals come ashore to breed in season. That's a popular trip.
If you fish, there's good coarse and fly fishing nearby, with quite a few lakes within a few miles. You can hire horses locally if you want to ride.
For planning days out, these sites are useful: Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Lincolnshire Wolds.
We don't allow pets, sorry.
