Cow Pasture Cottage
Cow Pasture Cottage is our place, out on the Lincolnshire Wolds, a couple of miles from Louth. It's a converted barn. Detached. We live next door in the farmhouse.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, a shower room ensuite. It's got a 5 star rating, which means it's comfortable and has everything you need. There's parking right outside.
Inside, it's all on one level once you're up the stairs. The main room is open plan. Wood burner, TV, kitchen area. There's WiFi. The bedroom is up a small flight of stairs from the living area, which is a bit different. It's a good size with a big shower room attached.
Outside, you've got your own patio area with a table and chairs, and a BBQ. It looks out over our field. It's very quiet.
Louth's about a mile and a half away. Nice market town. Good butchers and cafes. We're about the same distance from the nearest pub, which does food.
You can walk from the door. There's a footpath that joins the Round Louth Walk. The best thing nearby is Hubbards Hills. It's a ten minute walk. It's a lovely valley with a stream, managed by a trust. For a longer day, the Lincolnshire coast is about half an hour's drive.
