Bluestone Cottage
Bluestone Cottage is a barn conversion in Welton le Wold. It’s in our garden, but you’re completely separate.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s high spec and comfortable. The doorways are wide and there’s no step into the shower, so it works well for wheelchair users.
The place is open plan with a wood burner. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi. The patio is enclosed, so it’s safe for a dog. We allow one pet.
You’re out in the village. It’s quiet. The local shop and pub are about three miles away in Louth, so you’ll need to drive or get a taxi. Louth is a nice market town with good places to eat.
You can walk or cycle straight from the door into the Lincolnshire Wolds. It’s good walking country. The Lincolnshire Wolds website has maps and routes.
The coast is about twenty miles east. Places like Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes are a straightforward drive. Lincoln is about the same distance west. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. The Lincolnshire County Council site has visitor information.
There are golf courses nearby. Fishing is available locally too.
We include bedding and towels. There’s parking right outside.
