Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage is in Sloothby in Lincolnshire. It’s a bungalow, so everything is on the ground floor. It’s detached and sits in a quiet spot.

It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two doubles and a twin room. There's one bathroom, which is a wet room with grab rails if that helps anyone.

It’s got a four star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped. There's a good sized living room and a conservatory off the kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.

The garden faces south. There’s a patio area and a large paddock behind it. The parking is on site.

It’s a good place for a quiet break. You can walk or cycle straight from the door. The nearest pub is about two miles away by road, or you can cut across the fields on foot which is shorter.

The coast is about five miles drive. Chapel St Leonards has sandy beaches. Further along you have Anderby Creek, Sandilands, and Sutton-on-Sea with the painted beach huts. Mablethorpe is the traditional seaside town there. Some people walk along the sea defences from Sandilands to Mablethorpe and get the bus back.

Within fifteen minutes by car you’ve got Skegness and Mablethorpe resorts, Fantasy Island, Butlins, and Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. The Lincolnshire Wolds are close too if you like walking. There's local fishing and horse riding nearby.

The property has Wi-Fi, a TV, and is family friendly. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
