The Old Barn
The Old Barn is in Skegness. It's one of four cottages around a courtyard on a bigger site called Ashtree Court. The grounds are about four acres, with mature trees and gardens.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and generally in good order. The main thing is that you share a heated indoor swimming pool with the other cottages here. There's also a children's play area.
You're about two miles from Skegness seafront and the usual amusements. The beach is sandy. The local pub and a shop are a mile away.
For golf, Seacroft links course is close by. There's coarse fishing about five minutes walk from the cottage.
If you want to go out for the day, the Lincolnshire Wolds are right there for walking. RSPB Gibraltar Point is nearby. Lincoln is about 40 minutes drive. It's got the cathedral and the castle. National Trust Gunby Hall is within half an hour, as is the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight visitor centre.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a patio with a BBQ, parking right outside, and bike storage. Bedding is included. You can bring up to two dogs. It's part of a group of properties, so you might see other guests coming and going to the pool.
