The Old Barn
The Old Barn is one of four cottages at Ashtree Court, just outside Skegness. You share the site with the other three places. It's not remote, it's in a group around a courtyard.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after. The layout is open plan downstairs.
The main thing here is the shared heated indoor pool. It's in a separate building you can use. There's also a kids' play area on the grounds. The garden is shared too, it's about four acres. You get your own patio and a BBQ.
The beach is about five minutes' drive. It's the long, sandy Skegness beach. The town centre with all the seafront things is a bit further, maybe ten minutes.
There's a shop and a pub in the village, about a mile away. For golf, Seacroft is the famous links course nearby.
If you want to get out and about, Gibraltar Point is an RSPB reserve on the coast. The Lincolnshire Wolds are good for walks. Lincoln city with the cathedral is about a 45 minute drive. For history, the Battle of Britain Museum and the Lancaster Museum at East Kirkby are within half an hour.
Facilities: WiFi, parking right outside, bedding included, bike storage. You can bring up to two dogs. The pool is shared with the other cottages.
