The Nook is a bungalow in Hogsthorpe. It's about ten minutes by car from the sea. It's not right on the coast, so it's quiet. The garden is enclosed and there's parking on the drive.
It sleeps eight across four bedrooms. Three bathrooms, and everything is on one level. There are no stairs. It has a 5 Star rating, so it's kitted out to a high standard.
Outside, there's a patio with a big table and benches. There's also a built-in bar area with a counter that folds down, a sink and a little outdoor fridge. It sounds a bit extra, but it's handy if you're grilling. There's a BBQ provided.
Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine in a utility room. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's an electric vehicle charger on the drive.
The village has a shop and a pub within a mile. Both are walkable if you don't mind a bit of a stroll.
For the beach, Chapel St Leonards is closest. Skegness is a bit further along the coast. The Gibraltar Point nature reserve is about half an hour south, good for birdwatching and quieter walks.
Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are nice for driving or cycling. Market towns like Louth and Horncastle are worth a look. Lincoln is less than an hour's drive for a day out – the cathedral and castle are the main things there. For motor racing, Cadwell Park is within half an hour.
