Plough Cottage is in Authorpe Row, Lincolnshire. It's a converted barn, so you've got the beams and a modern finish inside. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is an en-suite, the other is a ground floor wet room. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The cottage shares the site with a couple of other barns. You get your own enclosed patio, and there's a big lawned garden that everyone uses. There's a fishing lake on site you can use, it's well stocked.
The stairs are typical cottage stairs. They're not crazy, but they're steeper than a modern house.
There's a pub that does food about a quarter of a mile down the lane. It's a five minute walk. The nearest shop is about a mile away in Alford.
For a day out, Skegness is about half an hour's drive. Fantasy Island is there if you've got kids. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is good for birdwatching and is also about thirty minutes by car. If you come in late autumn, the seal colony at Donna Nook is a twenty minute drive. It gets busy when the pups are on the beach.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
