Oxley Cottage
Oxley Cottage is on our farm just outside Habertoft. It's a one bed holiday let, converted from an old stable block. It sleeps two.
It's all on one level, which is handy. The kitchen window looks out onto a paddock. We've got alpacas and sheep in there sometimes. You can sit outside at the table if it's sunny.
Inside, it's open plan. There's one bedroom with an ensuite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. Everything's included: bedding, towels, WiFi. There's a dishwasher and a TV. Parking is right outside.
You're welcome to bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, but do keep an eye as it's a working farm.
The local pub is about two miles away in Orby. Decent food. The nearest shop is a bit further, in Burgh le Marsh.
For the coast, you're looking at a 15-20 minute drive. Chapel St Leonards beach has the North Sea Observatory. Skegness is a bit further along. It's a classic seaside town. Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells is a big funfair if that's your thing.
Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are nice for walking. Market towns like Alford and Louth are worth a visit. Lincoln is about an hour's drive. The cathedral is impressive.
