Beck View
This is Beck View, in Welton le Marsh. It's a barn we converted, detached, so it's just you and one other. It's meant for two people, nothing more.
You get one bedroom and one bathroom, which is en-suite. It's a five star place, which really just means everything's new and works properly. There's underfloor heating downstairs and a wood burner if you want it. The garden has a patio and a BBQ. You can hear the stream from there.
The local pub is a few minutes walk up the lane. They do food. The village shop is two miles away in Alford, so you'll probably drive.
It's quiet here. You can walk or cycle straight out from the door into the fields and lanes. The coast is about eight miles east. Skegness and Mablethorpe are that way, if you want a traditional seaside day. Inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are good for walking. They're an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
For a bigger day out, Lincoln is under an hour's drive. The cathedral and castle are worth seeing. Cadwell Park for motorbike racing is about forty minutes south.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance. We've put in an electric vehicle charger. No pets, I'm afraid.
