Somer Leyton Cottage

Somer Leyton Cottage is near a place called Slackholme End, in Lincolnshire. It's detached, so there's no one else attached to your walls. You get the whole place to yourself.

It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, plenty of space. The garden is a good size, fully enclosed, and looks out over fields. It's quiet.

Inside, it's got beams and a woodburning stove. There's a games room in an outbuilding with a pool table and things for kids to do. The stairs are fairly steep, which is usual for a cottage, but there's a stairgate at the top.

It's a rural spot. The nearest shop and pub are about two miles away in the village. They're fine. You'll need a car.

For days out, Skegness is about twenty minutes by car for the beach and things like the sealife centre. Gibraltar Point is good for nature, part of the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust. Gunby Hall is a National Trust property, about a twenty-five minute drive. Lincoln is a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes, but it's a proper city day out with the cathedral and castle.

There's a local golf course. Horse riding can be arranged nearby. The facilities are all there: parking, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding is included. We allow up to two dogs.
