Psalter Farmhouse

Psalter Farmhouse is in Skendleby in Lincolnshire. It's detached, and you're basically on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The house sleeps twelve, which is a lot of people. It's got six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-furnished. There's a main living room with an open fire, though it's ornamental so you can't actually use it. There's another living space too. The conservatory is big and we've put a pool table in there. The garden is large, with a patio.

The house is all on one level inside, so it's good if steps are difficult. There's a ramp to the front door. The doorways are wide.

You're right out in the country. There's a pub about a mile away, the Psalter Inn. The nearest shop is two miles, in the village.

The coast at Skegness is about ten miles. It's the classic British seaside, with sand and amusements. For walking, you can get straight onto the Wolds from the door. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

If you're interested in wartime history, Coningsby is a twenty-minute drive. That's where the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is based. East Kirkby Airfield, with its Lancaster bomber, is about fifteen minutes away. Lincoln, with the cathedral and castle, is around forty minutes by car.

The facilities list is mostly what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels included. There's parking. It's not a pet-free place out of principle, it's just that we can't accommodate them here. There's bicycle storage if you bring bikes.
