Curlew
The place is called Curlew. It's on a farm near Skegness in Lincolnshire. It's one of four converted barns here.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite, so a bathroom each. It’s got a 5 Star rating which means it’s done to a higher spec, good quality finish.
You get your own enclosed garden with a patio. There’s a hot tub out there that’s yours to use.
Inside, it’s open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There’s underfloor heating, which is good. There’s an electric vehicle charger too.
The beach is about a mile away. The Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is right on the doorstep. You can walk straight into it from the farm. It’s good for birds and quiet walks. There’s a visitor centre with a café there.
Skegness town centre is a few minutes in the car. It’s a proper traditional seaside place. Amusements, donkey rides on the beach, that sort of thing. There's a golf course nearby as well.
If you want to go inland, the Lincolnshire Wolds are about half an hour’s drive. Nice for a change of scene. Lincoln is about a 40 minute drive. The cathedral is worth seeing.
There’s a pub and a restaurant about a mile away. The shop is a mile and a half.
You can bring one dog. We provide bedding and towels. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
