Kingfisher Cottage
Kingfisher Cottage is on our farm, just outside Wainfleet St Mary. It's a detached one-bedroom place, so just for two people. You get your own bit of garden with a hot tub.
The cottage itself is new and done up to a high standard, that's the 5 Star bit. Everything's open plan downstairs. The bedroom has an en suite shower room. There's a washing machine and towels are provided.
You're welcome to walk around the farm, it's about 80 acres. The River Steeping runs through it, and you can fish there at no extra cost. The tennis court is shared with the other cottage on site if you fancy a game.
The village is a five-minute walk. There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and a brewery that does tours. Skegness is about five miles away if you want the beach and the arcades.
For a day out, Gunby Hall and Tattershall Castle are both within half an hour. Lincoln is further, about 45 minutes by car, but it's a good trip for the castle and cathedral.
Practical stuff: there's parking right outside. We allow one well-behaved dog. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
