The Hayloft is one of the cottages at Jockhedge, near Burgh le Marsh. It's on the top floor of a converted barn. You'll get a key for the main yard gate, so you can come and go.
It's a one-bedroom place for two people. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The stairs up to it are external stone steps from the yard. They're fine, just mind them if it's wet.
Inside, it's one room really, with the living area and kitchenette together, and a separate bedroom and bathroom off it. The main thing is the view. It's over the fields, nothing in the way. You can sit and watch the weather come in.
There's a shared hot tub in the yard. You need to book slots with me for that, there's a charge. It's under a cover so you can use it in the rain.
The village is a five minute walk. There's a couple of pubs that do food. For a shop, you'd drive to the co-op in Skegness or the butchers in the village.
You're about five miles from Skegness seafront. It's a traditional seaside town, with the beach and the pier. If you want a longer walk, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has reserves nearby, like Gibraltar Point.
Golf, fishing, horse riding are all available locally. I can point you to the places if you're interested.
For booking, the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets. There's WiFi and a TV.
Useful links for planning: Visit Lincolnshire Coast and National Trust Gunby Estate, which is about a 20 minute drive.
