The Stables is a cottage on a farm just outside Burgh le Marsh. It's part of a group called Jockhedge Cottages. The farm has about 25 acres of land you can walk around.
It's a ground floor cottage that sleeps four, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We can take two dogs.
Inside, there's a lounge and dining area together with a gas fire. The furniture is a bit old-fashioned, but it's comfortable. There's a TV and WiFi. All the bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a patio and garden area just for this cottage. There's also a shared hot tub you can book for a slot during your stay. There's parking right outside.
The village centre is about a ten minute walk. There's a local shop and a couple of pubs that do food. Skegness and the coast are about five miles away. That's where the main beach is.
If you're here without a car, you're a bit stuck. With one, you've got a few options. You're close to the Lincolnshire Wolds for walking. There's riding and fishing nearby. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is about a 20 minute drive south of Skegness.
For organised days out, you could drive to Lincoln. The castle and cathedral are worth seeing. That's about a 40 minute drive. Or you can head up the coast to places like Mablethorpe.
